Bemm River Men's Shed, the place to go for all your venison needs! We can even have great products put in your freezer for when you arrive. Think of all the time you will save by not going shopping for your red meat requirements. Go fishing instead!

About UsHolidays are great, whether you are getting away for the weekend or a couple of weeks, Bemm River holidays are an increasingly popular Victorian getaway.
East of Orbost and about half an hour from Cape Conran, Bemm River has some of the best beaches and native wildlife in Australia. Located on the edge of town, surrounded by unique bird life, landscaped gardens and a variety of wildlife, including the rare, but flourishing local population of Golden Bell Frogs, Cosy Nook Accommodation has a range of affordable holiday units. The seven fully self-contained units and two cottages in the township, provide maximum in-home comforts, with free Wi-Fi, ample parking and BBQ facilities, for visitors to the region. All units at Cosy Nook have cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, gas cookers, fridges, microwaves, blackout curtains and reverse cycle air conditioners. Bottom bedding and pillows are supplied but customers are required to bring their own top bedding and towels, (These can be supplied at a small extra charge if necessary) *NB: This does not pertain to the cottages (see below), which have full bedding, towels are the only requirement there. Further up in the township, within easy walking distance of the Hotel, General Store/Bait & Tackle Supply/Post Office/Newsagent, Community Centre, Men's Shed (Try some of their venison products, they are sensational), Recreation Reserve, Fishing Platforms and our newly installed walkways, we also have two luxuriously appointed cottages, all mod cons, including bedding (bring your own towels) are supplied. Again, there is also ample parking for cars and boats as well as BBQs on the back deck and shared outdoor furniture along with a chiminea. Guests at these cottages are also welcome to avail themselves of all facilities at Cosy Nook. The BBQ area has quite an array of cooking options, including: a our pièce de résistance, a Global Warmer oven, fitted with a hot/cold smoker - Saturday nights are quite often pizza nights, bring your own pizzas/ingredients, please notify us if you wish to participate! There is plenty of seating, a large screen TV with Netflix, Kayo and Prime movies, presentation facilities (Fishing clubs are welcome), a pot belly to keep you warm on cold wintery nights. (Wood is available for purchase at the office) It's the spot to meet and mingle with other guests and share stories of your catch of the day, or perhaps the one that got away. As well as undercover BBQs, other facilities include a Recreation room; with an 8' x 4' slate base pool table (eight ball, snooker, billiards and Kelly pool), table tennis, some kiddies toys, a large screen TV, again with Kayo sports, Netflix and Amazon Prime Movies, a guest PC, a library with books, magazines, DVDs and CDs and a stereo player. There is a guest laundry with coin operated washing machine and dryer, clothes airing racks, baskets, free washing powder and pre-stain treatment, an iron with ironing board and a vacuum cleaner for any quick cleanups. Ice is available in the big chest freezer here also (a honesty box system applies). There is a fish cleaning table along with ample car and boat parking and an external toilet block.
